We are proud to celebrate 25 years of Ultrabulk in Rio de Janeiro. When we opened the office in 2001, we wanted to be closer to our local clients, and that purpose remains. A lot has changed in the world, in shipping operations, in international trade and in technology, but our commitment to knowing our customers, the importance of local knowledge and delivering value has been constant. This anniversary is a testament to the strong relationships we have built over the years and to the dedication of the people behind it all.
The milestone was marked with a reception gathering colleagues, clients, partners and friends – a celebration of our accomplishments, our commitment and all the people who have been part of the journey.
As CEO Hans-Christian Olesen mentioned in his speech at the event, “An office can only be successful for 25 years if it has strong relationships around it. We are grateful for the trust our customers have shown us, not only in good times, but also through challenging times. Business relationships in our industry are built over time.”
The event was an opportunity to reflect on how far we have come in Rio de Janeiro and on the importance of the relationships that continue to support our presence there.
