In the beginning of September, we celebrated the 25th anniversary of Ultrabulk Singapore – a milestone worth marking. Looking back a quarter-century, Singapore was emerging as in the maritime arena, with significant growth and technological advancement. Recognising its strategic importance, Ultrabulk established a permanent presence with the opening of an office. Today, Singapore continues to hold a leading position in global shipping, having been named the world’s top maritime hub for the twelfth consecutive year. Ultrabulk Singapore is our second largest office, where a dedicated team has played an important role in supporting our activities.
The anniversary was marked with a reception, bringing together friends, clients, brokers, and partners. The event included speeches from CEO Hans-Christian Olesen, Head of Supramax, Klaus Munk Andersen and Head of Asia and responsible for the leadership of the Singapore office, Danny Ng. It served a wonderful opportunity to reflect on our achievements, share stories, and look ahead to the future.
